Meanwhile, Ethan was back at my parents' house drinking sweet tea and captivating his grandparents with his every move. It was as if we left him at some sort of educational training center. He learned to safely navigate stairs and show us his "muscles" (this same move can be used as a sign for "touchdown" or to flag down help if you ever get a flat tire).

So the sleeping in late was mostly my activity. In this picture, Jeffrey is in line and ready to board the lift as it opens. Someone was excited.

Too bad my birthday has just passed. I should have asked for some reasonably sized goggles.
Snow shoeing was fun. And a workout. Mama was hungry after this trek!
And who doesn't love a good snowfall at night? It was a great trip!
ok, so which was more fun: a ski trip where the main activity is trying to keep 98 teenagers alive and well or a relaxing trip alone w/ your husband????
