Just Take a Little Off the Side...

We decided the mullet was out of control when 1/2 our day was devoted to tucking Ethan's hair behind his ears in order to see his face. I honestly think that a recent fall into the dryer was due to low vision brought on by hair in the face. (And/or bad parenting - the verdict's still out on this one.)

We figured that the highchair was as good a venue as any, so we transformed the kitchen into a barbershop after snack time. Since Ethan feels comfy enough to eat and poop there, perhaps he'd feel relaxed enough to get his ears lowered while strapped into his chair/toilet.
